This charming Saint Louis home received the kitchen it truly deserved. The original kitchen was cramped and barely fit a single cook, but the newly expanded space at the back of the house now offers ample room for multiple chefs, family gatherings, and even a cozy nook for the family’s puppies. With beautiful inset cabinetry and meticulous millwork, the design honors the home’s historic architectural style while seamlessly blending modern luxury.

TURNING A HOME INTO A RETREAT
2022 HBA Remodeling Project of the Year Winner
We transformed our homeowners’ dream into reality by creating a spacious gathering room for entertaining and a relaxing primary bedroom suite. We enhanced outdoor living with a two-level deck, providing a cozy covered area for watching TV or dining, and an uncovered lower deck for outdoor entertainment.
The addition seamlessly flows from the existing house, appearing original, and includes a laundry closet in the primary suite for convenience. The project required stormwater management for the yard, but the result is an expanded indoor/outdoor living space that our homeowners love.

At Aleto, we know that even the smallest leak can lead to big problems—and sometimes, a welcome opportunity for transformation. That was exactly the case for one of our recent clients, who reached out about a persistent shower leak that had begun causing water damage to their bathroom floor and adjacent wall.
Lindenwood Park Upgrade
A home in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood just got an elevated upgrade—literally. This second-story addition features a spacious owner’s retreat with a light-filled bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a beautifully tiled full bathroom.
Custom details include 5×5 ceramic wall tile, a 1″ hex mosaic floor with 2′ square rug insets, and warm wood-look LVP throughout. A custom staircase ties it all together with elegance and craftsmanship.
ELEGANCE AT ITS FINEST
A 30-year-old bathroom in South County gets a luxurious makeover by Aleto: Jacuzzi tub replaced with a modern soaking tub, marble accents, gold fixtures, dual vanities, and spa-like green paint create a stunning retreat.
BACKYARD ENHANCEMENT
The homeowners sought to expand their living spaces into the backyard. Through meticulous planning, we created a tranquil retreat perfect for morning coffee and entertaining guests all day long.

Transformed a mid-century modern home by removing walls to create additional living space, replacing screens with windows, and adding skylights with solar shades. The highlight is a double-sided gas fireplace for cozy ambience.

We transformed a Des Peres kitchen into a bright, functional space. Features include two-tone cabinets, a spacious island with a breakfast bar, glass cabinetry, a beverage refrigerator, and a stunning quartz countertop. The renovation also created more visual space by removing wing walls.
CRAFTING A TIMELESS KITCHEN IN SKINKER – DEBALIVIERE
Nestled in the heart of St. Louis’ historic Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood, this 1911 Craftsman-style home recently received a thoughtful kitchen renovation that honors its heritage while embracing modern functionality.
The original home boasts intricate woodwork, which inspired the warm wood-stained cabinetry. The new cabinets beautifully coordinate with the home’s historic charm, offering an updated look that still feels rooted in the past.
Olivette Addition
This home renovation included a new family room addition with hardwood floors and skylights, blending seamlessly with the existing layout. Interior upgrades transformed the dining room into a stylish office and separate mudroom, added a new primary suite bathroom, expanded the pantry, and refreshed the entire house with new paint.

Clients moved permanently to St. Louis and tasked us with gutting their non-functional kitchen. We redesigned for storage and cooking needs, brightening with white countertops and green tiles, and enhancing functionality with thoughtfully planned drawers and pantry cabinets.

2022 HBA Project of the Year – Misc. Project Winner
Amid the pandemic, a Tower Grove homeowner sought a pottery studio. We collaborated to design an open, light-filled space, fostering creativity and convenience for her artistic pursuits.
A HOME MAKEOVER ON THE HILL
2022 HBA Project of the Year – Overall Renovation.
Stunning transformation on the Hill, an HBA Project of the Year Winner. Expanded kitchen with new cabinetry, tile, fixtures, and beverage center. Added living space, master suite with sitting room, walk-in closet, and spacious bathroom.
Original charm is preserved with a showcase of the original brick exterior wall as a beautiful archway.
Transforming a basement into an entertainment space
A Chesterfield couple wanted to create a wonderful space to entertain and relax when their family was in town; so they looked to transform their basement into the perfect spot.
The living room was extended to open the space and an existing fireplace updated to give the space a more modern look.
